About Chris McAsey
I was part of the evolution of America’s Cup sailors that saw boat speeds go from 9 knots to 40 knots and beyond. I respect and enjoy the traditional ways, but I believe change is constant in every aspect of life, and I embrace the challenges and opportunities that come with it.
When photos came out of us foiling on the ETNZ catamaran in 2012, many “experts” believed they were photo shopped. Now the technology of foiling and the America’s Cup go hand in hand.
I reject the concept of doing something because that’s the way it has always been done. In this connected age, we don’t all need to be restrained by traditional office hours, we don’t need to accept that life is about surviving when it should be about thriving.
Northland offers an incredible lifestyle and I am very excited to be bringing the Proppy brand to the region to empower vendors and buyers to negotiate on their own terms using a totally transparent platform.
Through over twenty years in professional sport, I have built a vast network throughout New Zealand as well as internationally. I thrive on building relationships in a relaxed and open manner, and I am always happy to have an excuse to jump in the car to travel through the stunning Northland countryside to have a chat about your property ambitions.
